Mercury’s Milan mid-size sedan is a strong unit on the Mercury line-up. Being ranked as “one of the most reliable cars available in the U.S.” by Consumer Reports, being a class exclusive AWD and being Consumer Guide’s 2007 Recommended Midsize-car should be more than enough to convince you of this cars quality. There is a host of new features for 2008 including five new color options, a Voice Activated Navigation System, a Keyless Entry Keypad and more!

The five-occupant interior was newly designed to give the passengers a lap of luxury while they ride. Ambient lighting extenuates the front and rear footwells, as well as the cup holders, in a choice of various colors. The 60/40-split rear seat can fold down to improve the trunk’s 15.8 cubic feet of cargo space; the front passenger seat may also fold down for further room. The back doors have also been extended to allow easier access. The interior is as safe as it is suave. Side-impact and side curtain airbags are standard as well as antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution. Mercury has incorporated the new reverse-warning system technology into the 2008 Milan as well. The automakers really kept all aspects in mind during design!

The Milan has two engines available: a 160-hp 2.3-L four-cylinder engine as well as a 221-hp 3.0-L V6 one. The four-cylinder uses either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission; the V6 models utilize a six-speed automatic transmission. Expect a quiet, comfortable and high-performing ride with the 2008 Milan!
